Hazard Trees – When Giants Fall

Insurance and Trees

When trees fall on structures, we can assist in negotiating with the insurance adjusters. We take the time to explain what, why and how the work will take place in a manner that conforms to insurance standards and terms of coverage. When removing storm damaged trees, we work carefully to avoid any further property damage. The insurance adjusters are professionals and like us have considerable experience in dealing with storm damage.  They appreciate our working knowledge and the time we take to do the job right.

Hazard Trees and Storm Damage

Internally decayed trees often pose a hazard to people and property. An inspection by our trained arborists can assist in the detection of hazardous trees and non-hazardous trees. We value trees and recommend their removal only when necessary.

While we have removed many dangerous trees, we have also saved many misdiagnosed trees from premature removal. We diligently work to find creative alternatives to tree removal. (See our section on tree cabling)

Internal decay led to the failure of the poplar tree which fell on this old, historic Carriage House.
